Biography
Stewart L. Colling was born in Winter Park, Florida, December 30, 1959; admitted to bar, 1986, Florida and U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; 1995, Colorado.
Education: Rollins College (B.A., 1982); Stetson University (J.D., 1985). Delta Theta Phi. Outstanding Participant, Freshman Moot Court Competition.

Stewart L. Colling has been licensed to practice Law in Florida since 1986 and in Colorado since 1995. Mr. Colling received his undergraduate degree from Rollins College in 1982 and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1985. He is a member of The Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, Workers Injury Litigation Group, The Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers (Eagle Member), Florida Workers' Advocates, and is a founding partner with the firm of Colling Gilbert Wright & Carter P.A, he was previously part of the Morgan Colling and Gilbert law firm. Mr. Colling has practiced exclusively in the areas of Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, and Workers' Compensation since 1986 and is a frequent lecturer at legal seminars all across Florida. Mr. Colling has been awarded an “AV” rating, the highest legal rating possible, from the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory, based upon his legal expertise, professional ethics and professional reputation. Mr. Colling served as President of Florida Workers' Advocates in 2001-2002, and has been on its Board of Directors since 1997.
In March of 2002, Mr. Colling was appointed by Governor Bush to the Governor’s Commission on Workers’ Compensation Reform. Mr. Colling is currently a member of the Executive Council of the Workers Compensation Section of the Florida Bar and has served as the Chairman of the Workers Compensation Section of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers(2004-2005).
