Happy Fourth Of July

Representing Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Nearby Areas of Florida

This weekend, we celebrate our freedom. We celebrate Independence Day. On July 4, 1776 the United States adopted the Declaration of Independence, declaring our independence from Great Britain. Legally, the separation of the United States from Great Britain occurred two days earlier on July 2, 1776 when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve the resolution of independence proposed by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia. After this vote, Congress turned its attention to the Declaration of Independence which explained the reasons for the decision to separate from Great Britain. The Declaration of Independence was prepared by a Committee of Five with Thomas Jefferson being the primary author. It has guaranteed our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for over 200 years. Remember those who have sacrificed before us when you celebrate this weekend. And please, celebrate safely.
