Motorcycle Deaths On The Rise

Representing Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Nearby Areas of Florida

Bruce Rossmeyer, owner of a nationwide chain of Harley Davidson Motorcycle dealerships, inlcuding his most famous one in Daytona Beach, Florida was killed in a motorcycle accident in Wyoming on Thursday. Our sympathies go out to Bruce’s family. He was a wonderful person and gave back to his community in many ways. Another motorcyclist was killed Saturday night when swerving to avoid a sports utility vehicle on Lee Road in Winter Park, Florida.

Along with rising motorcycle registrations, biker deaths have been on the rise for many years. There were almost 5,000 motorcycle deaths in 2006 alone according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
