Briggs Holshey

Briggs Holshey was born and raised in Cumberland, Maryland. Later, his family relocated to the Central Florida area. Briggs graduated from Timber Creek High School located in East Orlando. He then attended the University of Central Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Following graduation,Briggs attended Florida A&M School of Law in Orlando, Florida and was subsequently admitted to The Florida Bar.
During his undergraduate years at the University of Central Florida, Briggs was a member of Delta Sigma Phi, whose primary focus was on raising funds for various charities including Knight-Thon, a student-driven philanthropy with the goal of raising funds and awareness for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
After graduating from Florida A&M law, Briggs practiced at the Office of the Orange County, Florida, Public Defender for the Ninth Circuit.
Briggs originally joined the firm as a file clerk/legal assistant in 2013, immediately after graduating high school. He continued to work with the firm through his entire graduate years and moving up through the ranks until he eventually began providing trial support for the attorneys. He continued with the firm until he left to focus on his legal studies. Briggs officially returned to the firm as an attorney in June, 2023, after nearly two years of litigation practice as an assistant public defender.
