Personal

Prior to becoming an attorney Fermin Lopez served with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division in Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, Africa and served as a paratrooper with the 18th Airborne Corps in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida and graduated from the University of Florida College of Law with honors in trial advocacy.

Mr. Lopez is an adjunct professor at the Barry University School of Law and is on the Board of Directors for the COAMED Foundation.

Previously, Mr. Fermin had been selected to the “Super Lawyers Rising Stars” for the years 2010-2013. Only five (5%) percent of the lawyers in each state or region are named Super Lawyers. Mr. Lopez is also included in Super Lawyers’ 2024 list of Top 50 Attorneys in Orlando.
