Orlando and Tampa Drivers Ranked Among Nations Worst
Men’s Health Magazine tabulated the rate of fatal crashes, the percentage of fatalities involving alcohol, speeding or hit and run, and the rate of seatbelt usage from records of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and then factored in the average number of years between accidents and laws on cell phone use while driving from the Institute of Highway Safety and city governments, to rank major U.S. cities’ drivers. Orlando and Tampa, Florida both ranked among the 10 worst cities for most dangerous drivers. Ranking cities from best drivers (1) to worst (100), Orlando ranked 92 and Tampa ranked 100, both having some of the most dangerous drivers in America according to Men’s Health Magazine.
