Share The Road
It’s summertime. Remember to share the road with bicyclists. About 7000 people die each year in bicycle accidents and another 350,000 are injured. About 1/3 of the injured bicyclists suffer brain injuries. Around 1/4 of the people who die are between 5 and 17 years old. Most bicycle deaths involve collisions with motor vehicles. If you’re a bicyclist, stay safe by wearing bright reflective clothing, a helmet, ride with the flow of traffic, obey all traffic laws, and use appropriate hand signals.
