Teach Your Children Well
Somewhere in Polk County, a father and mother have lost a child in what sounds like an avoidable case of senseless bad girl behavior. In a tragic story from Lakeland, Florida this morning, a young 12 year old girl leaped to her death after her family said she had been bullied for months. Reportedly, she even changed schools to get away from the bullies but the bad girl behavior continued via her cell phone, i.e. “cyber bullying”. Some of the bullies allegedly even said “Go kill yourself” and “Why are you still alive?”. Can you imagine?
Our hearts and prayers go out to this family. Remember. As the old 1960’s Crosby Stills Nash & Young song says, “teach your children well. Teach your children what you believe in. Make a world that we can live in.”
