Never Forget September 11, 2001
In the hours, days, and even years following the attacks on the World Trade Center, we witnessed America come together in a way that hadn’t been experienced since Pearl Harbor. On this the 13th anniversary of the cowardly attacks on the World Trade Center, we ask that you recognize a moment of silence, prayer, and thanks. Silence to respect those we lost in the attacks and the reckoning it demanded. Prayer for those still suffering and for our country as we consider standing up to tyranny once again. And thanks, for the privilege of living and working in the greatest democracy the world has ever conceived. A democracy built upon the system of trial by jury and power in the hands of the people…the only system with the checks and balances that prevent human nature from devolving into self interest over the good of the whole.
