Share The Road

Representing Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Nearby Areas of Florida

It’s summertime. Remember to share the road with bicyclists. About 7000 people die each year in bicycle accidents and another 350,000 are injured. About 1/3 of the injured bicyclists suffer brain injuries. Around 1/4 of the people who die are between 5 and 17 years old. Most bicycle deaths involve collisions with motor vehicles. If you’re a bicyclist, stay safe by wearing bright reflective clothing, a helmet, ride with the flow of traffic, obey all traffic laws, and use appropriate hand signals. For more information on how to stay safe when cycling, visit the AAA Bicycle Safety Site.
