Take Care On Central Florida Toll Roads
According to the Orlando Sentinel, accident on Central Florida toll roads have been on the rise over the last four years. In 2011, there were only 96 traffic crashes. There have been almost 260 accidents this year on the same toll roads. That represents an increase of almost 170%. This is a result of more traffic, more motorists paying tolls, increasing construction and housing development, and the economic upturn we are all thankful for. The primary causes of accidents are bad weather and distracted driving, with smartphones and texting while driving being major culprits.
Be careful on the toll roads while exchanging gifts and readying your family for New Year’s Eve. Pay attention and reduce speed in bad weather.
