VA Waiting List Tops 100,000
According to audits from the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA facilities have sidetracked patient scheduling for over 57,000 veterans and about 64,000 were not even on the VA’s electronic scheduling lists for physician appointments they had requested. The data released shows that dysfunction permeates the VA medical system and places health in jeopardy for the more than 9.3 million veterans enrolled in the program.
